Mission

198 m² built so the line between fiction and reality disappears. Two bi-level apartments (110 m²) and a main hall (77 m², 4 m high). Every centimeter serves one idea: total immersion. Light reacts to your movement. Sound follows you. The space breathes with you.

LARP is the art of becoming someone else. You are the hero, and the space around you turns into another world. At Larp Space that magic doesn't stay in your head — it is built into the walls, the light and the sound. You enter. You become the character. Here, reality yields to fiction.

White

Pure form. Minimalism perfected and set off by intelligent Loxone lighting. The set design blurs the line between furniture and art. An ElevenLabs voice guides you through the space like an invisible host.

Black

56 m²

12 ppl

Deep immersion. Step inside a spaceship. Atmospheric lighting, scenic furniture and full automation create the sensation that gravity just shifted. Every detail works towards the same dense, absorbing mood.

Main Hall

77 m²

77 m² of pure black space and 4 meters of height, divided into 3 independent sections — each with its own sound system and lighting. The hall has its own entrance from the corridor, separate from the apartments, plus a separate restroom for hall guests. The ceiling is partly soundproofed with structural mats, sound-absorbing anti-slip carpet covers the floor, and washable vinyl wallpaper lines the walls. Every window has electric blackout blinds, so total darkness is seconds away. Three steel beams run across the ceiling (visible on the floor plan) — they let you hang extra lighting or divide the hall with walls along its full length, though these walls won't be soundproof. Equipment includes a 4K projector, a motorized 120" screen, 10 linear RGBW lamps individually controlled by Loxone and 3 audio zones in the hall itself (further audio zones are distributed across the rest of the space per the floor plan), special effects, high-capacity HVAC with fresh air intake, and folding tables and conference chairs included in the rental. An arena for building worlds.

Modular space — your rules

Larp Space is more than apartments — it is a modular event venue. Every room works independently, so you can bring it into the game or leave it out. Sliding doors between the White and Black apartments merge them into one space or split them into two separate worlds. Book all 198 m² exclusively or build your own layout: the main hall with one or both apartments, the living modules alone, or just the hall. Company meetings, birthdays, LARP sessions, workshops — the layout follows your scenario. Private outdoor zone with a grill and shelter, gated monitored parking for 20 cars. One venue. Infinite configurations.

Sleep among the stars

Each capsule is a full apartment with sleeping quarters. White: up to 8 guests across two levels. Black: up to 12 guests in deep space ambiance. 20 sleeping spots total. Bathrooms, kitchens and lounge areas are designed so the stay is as immersive as the game itself.

LARPs All In

The entire adventure in one place. A closed, private space — from the parking to the outdoor zone — designed so you never have to leave.

Larp Space is the only place like this in Poland: a gated, fenced site with private monitored parking for 20 cars, an outdoor zone with grill, covered shelter, and a fire pit area. Two bi-level apartments — White and Black — sleeping 20 guests, with two kitchens and two sci-fi-styled bathrooms, each with a shower. A 77 m² main hall at 4 meters height with a separate entrance from the corridor and a dedicated restroom, featuring windows with blackout blinds and a 7-zone sound system. Equipped with folding tables and conference chairs included in the rental. Modular construction lets you merge or split spaces — sliding doors between apartments give you full flexibility. 14 linear and 3 hexagonal RGBW lamps, individually controlled and atmospheric systems (smoke, fog) controlled by Loxone automation. Book everything or just what you need. Zero strangers. Full immersion from arrival to departure.

Closed space

A fenced, private site — no uninvited guests. The game starts at the gate and doesn't stop until you say so.

Monitored parking for 20 cars

Gated, monitored on-site parking. Safe, lit, with CCTV — forget about hunting for street spots.

2 apartments

White (up to 8 guests) and Black (up to 12 guests) — two bi-level apartments with kitchens, bathrooms with showers, and lounge areas. Sliding doors between them let you merge or separate the spaces.

Up to 20 guests

20 sleeping spots total across two apartments. Your entire group under one roof, no scattering across hotels.

Outdoor zone, grill & shelter

A private outdoor area with a covered shelter, grill, and fire pit — warm-ups before the game, outdoor workshops, food and game talk, rain or shine.

What is LARP?

Explore the world of live action role-playing – a form of entertainment that blends theatre, gaming, and real emotions into one unforgettable experience.

01

What is LARP? — A Friendly Introduction

Forget screens, controllers, and keyboards for a moment. LARP is a game where you are the character. Physically. You stand in costume, talk with other players, make decisions that shape the story — your story. There's no screen between you and the adventure. No "save" button. Every choice is final, every conversation is real.

The entire session is coordinated by a game master — the only person who knows the scenario from start to finish. They manage the plot, react to your actions, introduce surprises. But they don't dictate what you do. Your fate is in your hands.

You can play a knight seeking honor, a spy in a cyberpunk city, a detective in a town full of secrets, or a starship captain at the edge of the galaxy. Games last from a few hours to several days. They can take place in a forest, a castle, an urban loft — or in a dedicated immersive space.

And most importantly: the emotions are real. You'll feel adrenaline when your ally betrays you at a crucial moment. You'll genuinely feel triumph when your plan works. These are experiences that stay with you long after the game ends.

Over 30 Years of LARP in Poland

Polish LARPs have their own fascinating history. It started in the days when information about role-playing games came only from Western magazines. Poles didn't wait for translations — they invented their own systems, created their own worlds. This tradition of independence and creativity defines the Polish scene to this day.

The most important symbol of this history is Orkon — a LARP convention running continuously since 1991 in the Kraków-Częstochowa Jura. Two weeks in July, up to 350 participants, dozens of games, culminating in a three-day Main Game set in an original fantasy world. In 2018, the Orkon Association was established, formalizing the organization and ensuring the future of this tradition.

But the Polish map extends far beyond Orkon. Flamberg is a week-long LARP and board game convention in tents. Ziemie Jałowe is a post-apocalyptic LARP inspired by Stephen King's "The Dark Tower." Cech Obrońców organizes massive games in the Witcher universe. Szczecin by Night runs intimate salon games in the Vampire: The Masquerade convention. LARP Gothic annually transforms Ranch Western in Silesia into the living world of the cult game. And LarpVenture organizes events in castles and palaces, accessible even to first-timers.

LARP Goes Mainstream — the Film "LARP" (2025)

In October 2025, Polish cinemas premiered "LARP: Love, Trolls and Other Quests" — the feature debut of Kordian Kądziela, creator of the hit Netflix series "1670." The film follows Sergiusz, a technical school student mocked for his passion for fantasy, but who becomes a true hero in the world of LARPs.

The film won the award for best supporting actor at the 50th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia, the Youth Jury Award, the "Perspektywa" Award named after Janusz Morgenstern, and the Grand Prix at the Science & Technology Film Festival in Kraków. The director speaks of "armor" — Sergiusz protects himself with an elf costume, his father with a police uniform, his brother with muscles. LARP becomes a metaphor for building identity and finding the courage to be yourself. Filming took place in Polanica-Zdrój and the Skałki Stoleckie reserve in Lower Silesia.

For the Polish LARP community, this is a breakthrough moment. For the first time, a live action role-playing game is the main subject of a Polish feature film — one that earns great reviews rather than feeding stereotypes.

LARP Develops — What Research Says

It's not just play — though play is absolutely essential. The list of developed competencies is impressive: empathy, communication and negotiation, creative thinking, stress management, teamwork, self-confidence, emotional and social intelligence. In Nordic countries, LARPs are already fully integrated into the education system — Denmark's Østerskov Efterskole school runs most of its classes as role-playing games. They learn foreign languages through improvisation, physics through calculating catapult trajectories in siege games. In Poland, these methods are gaining more supporters, particularly in non-formal education.

Adult participants develop empathy (because to play a character well, you must truly try to understand a different perspective), self-confidence, communication and negotiation, and even stress management — making decisions under time pressure in safe conditions is the best training.

LARP in Business — Next-Generation Team Building

Corporations and companies in Poland increasingly turn to LARPs as a team integration tool. Traditional outings with pizza and bowling are becoming a thing of the past. Employees seek engaging, surprising experiences that genuinely build relationships.

Imagine: your team lands in a neon city of the future and must unravel corporate intrigues. Or fights for survival in a post-apocalyptic world. Scenarios naturally force collaboration, communication, and decision-making under pressure — exactly the skills critical in everyday work.

Companies like LarpVenture, Projekt Efektywny, and Gamma offer professional games for corporate clients, with scenarios written by acclaimed fantasy authors.

Immersion & Technology — the Future of LARPs

"Immersion" means the feeling of being "submerged" in a fictional world, where the boundary between reality and game blurs. LARPs achieve this naturally — through costumes, set design, sound, light, and interaction between living people.

Modern technologies take immersion to an entirely new level. Building automation systems (like Loxone) allow controlling lighting, sound, and climate with a single scenario. Artificial intelligence (e.g., ElevenLabs) generates realistic character voices in real time.

This is where LARP meets mystery games, immersive theatre, and art installations — creating an entirely new category of entertainment. Dedicated immersive spaces are the future of this industry.

Who Are LARPs For? — Busting Myths

One of the biggest myths says LARPs are only for "nerds." The reality is completely different. Modern LARPs attract people of all ages and backgrounds — lawyers, programmers, teachers, artists, managers, students. What unites them is the desire to experience something authentic.

You don't need any special skills. Organizers run workshops before each game. Safety mechanics allow adjusting the experience's intensity at any moment.

LARPs are a great option for birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, corporate team-building, and even dates. It's a form of entertainment that engages your entire body and mind — in a world where most entertainment happens in front of a screen, that's priceless.

Częstochowa & the Jura — a Region with LARP DNA

Częstochowa and the Kraków-Częstochowa Jura hold a special place on Poland's LARP map. Here — among limestone rocks, castles, and caves — Orkon has been running for over 30 years. Thousands of LARPers know this area as a magical place where fantasy merges with the natural beauty of the landscape.

The creation of **Larp Space** in Częstochowa is a natural evolution of this tradition. A region that for decades served as an arena for outdoor games now gains a permanent, year-round space — a total of 198 m² (110 m² apartments + 77 m² main hall) designed specifically for immersive experiences, with full control over light, sound, and atmosphere.

LARP vs. Mystery Games — What Connects and Divides Them?

Mystery games and LARPs share a common foundation: immersion. Both transport participants to another world and require cooperation. But the differences are fundamental. In a mystery game, you have 60 minutes and a set of puzzles — the goal is clear and linear. In a LARP, the goal comes from your character and their motivations.

Modern LARPs increasingly combine elements of both forms: logic puzzles in set designs that react to player actions. Smart home technology, special effects, and AI open doors to hybrid experiences that are simultaneously a role-playing game, a mystery game, and immersive theatre. That's the future of immersive formats — and that's the direction **Larp Space** is heading.

Frequently Asked Questions

LARP (Live Action Role Playing) is a live role-playing game where participants embody characters and collectively create a story through improvisation. Think of it as a blend of improvisational theatre and a board game – except there's no audience, and you're both actor and spectator at once.

No, no prior experience is required. Most LARPs offer introductory workshops before the game where you'll learn the rules, meet your character, and practice safety mechanics. Organizers ensure every new player feels comfortable.

It depends on the format. So-called "chamber LARPs" (intimate games) last 2 to 6 hours and take place in a single room. Location-based or outdoor LARPs can span one to several days, with accommodation and meals included.

Yes. Modern LARPs have extensive safety mechanics, including keywords to adjust intensity, designated off-game zones, and support teams. You can pause or de-escalate your play at any time.

There are chamber LARPs (intimate, single-room), location LARPs (in castles, manors, dedicated venues), outdoor LARPs (in forests, large terrains), and blockbuster productions with special effects and professional scenography. Thematically they range from fantasy and sci-fi to post-apocalyptic, historical, and contemporary settings.

This is the only venue of its kind in Poland, designed from the ground up for live action role-playing. We offer 7 sound zones, 17 RGBW lamps (14 linear + 3 hexagonal), special effects (smoke, fog, spark machines), automatic window blackout, an acoustically treated main hall, and an integrated Loxone system controlling everything from a single app.

For LARP organizers seeking a professional venue, companies planning unconventional team-building, groups of friends wanting an unforgettable adventure, and creators of immersive events or RPG sessions. The venue accommodates up to 20 guests with overnight stays.

Yes. The venue is available for exclusive rental – the entire space with full technical infrastructure, in any configuration. We rent out the space and its technology: LARPs, corporate events, birthdays and workshops are run by the tenant. The programme and hosting are the tenant's responsibility. Contact us and we'll help tailor the layout to your needs.

Yes. The venue is modular — you can rent the entire 198 m² exclusively, just the 77 m² main hall, a single White or Black apartment, or any room configuration. We adapt the layout to your event.

The venue is located at Zaciszańska 5 in Częstochowa — just a 25-minute walk from Częstochowa Stradom railway station. Katowice-Pyrzowice Airport is about 1 hour away via the A1 motorway. Częstochowa is centrally located in Poland, within 2–3 hours' drive from Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław, Łódź, and Katowice.

Absolutely. A gated, private space with parking, an outdoor zone, grill, overnight stays for 20 guests, and full AV infrastructure make it the perfect venue for unconventional team-building, corporate integration, workshops, or company events. LARP scenarios naturally enforce collaboration, communication, and decision-making under pressure — exactly the skills HR departments are looking for.

This place isn't meant to just convey an impression or shock you. Larp Space is meant to make you feel at home even in such an exotic world. This isn't scenography — it's a real interior you interact with. You find your place in it, get accustomed to it, and start to appreciate how it was constructed from the very beginning to the end."
