Team Building in Częstochowa — Why Larp Beats Paintball

Everyone who has worked for more than three years knows paintball. And karaoke. The trouble is that after both you come back to the office with exactly the same dynamics you left with. Larp works differently: you get a character, a goal and three hours in which you have to work things out with other people or nothing happens. Nobody here talks about soft skills — you simply have to reach an agreement.

Why Częstochowa? Because this is where a building stands that was drawn for immersive games from the first sketch — not a banquet hall that can be blacked out once a year. A total of 198 m² (including a 77 m² main hall and two apartments totalling 110 m²), a closed, private space with monitored parking for 20 cars, a courtyard with a grill and 20 beds. The main hall is 4 metres high, with 17 RGBW lamps (14 linear + 3 hexagonal), 7 audio zones and special effects (smoke, fog, strobes). All run by Loxone.

A larp scenario forces cooperation, conversation and decisions under pressure. We don't have a study on it, we have an observation: after three hours of play, people from one team talk to each other differently than they did in the car park that morning.

From Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław, Łódź and Katowice it's a 2–3 hour drive — Częstochowa sits roughly in the middle of that triangle. Częstochowa Stradom station is 2.1 km away, about a 25-minute walk. Katowice-Pyrzowice Airport — an hour via the A1 motorway.

We hire out exclusively: only your team is in the building, the whole time. No outsider walks through the middle of the game. Write to us with how many people are coming and what should happen — we'll reply with how to set it up.
